January 28 Red Bull ThingamaJIB - Riders will take on this one-of-a-kind course that allows athletes to shred on reworked odd-ball objects such as a a satellite dish, propane tank and a telephone booth, with the best and most unique jibs taking the win.

Located in Blowing Rock NC Appalachian Ski Mountain opened in December of 1968 with 3 slopes and simple rope tows. Today Appalachian has expanded to twelve slopes including two terrain parks serviced by one double chairlift, two quad chairlifts, two conveyor lifts (new in 2010) and one handle-pull lift.
