On the Slopes at Appalachian Ski Mountain 1-13-12

Today at Appalachian Ski Mountain: ASM had 3″ of natural snowfall last night and Edmisten Road has been scraped and salted from top to bottom. Skiing today is on 8 slopes with a 38 - 66 inch base. The Appal Jam & Appaljack Terrain Parks will be closed today for snowmaking and reshaping.

Snow Day Rates are in effect today for Watauga, Ashe, Avery, and Johnson Counties residents, so join in on the fun at a discount (proof of residency required).

Located in Blowing Rock NC Appalachian Ski Mountain opened in December of 1968 with 3 slopes and simple rope tows.
