Today at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort: Skiing 15 slopes with 5 lifts on a base of 16-40 inches with a loose and granular surface. Tubing is open with 3 lanes and ice skating is open for all sessions.

Located in Blowing Rock NC Appalachian Ski Mountain opened in December of 1968 with 3 slopes and simple rope tows.
