Dec 19 - Tube World, a 5 run tube park in Maggie Valley opens for the season. The Park has been snow-making all week in preparation for its first 2009-2010 local and visiting tubers. A moving Carpet lift makes getting to the top easier and a Wee Bowl Snowplay Area is available for those who do not meet height requirements. Cost will be $5 per session. Tubing is on a first come, first served basis and some sessions do sell out.
