Appalachian Ski Mountain Skating

Dec 5 - Appalachian Skate Arena begins regular schedule with 2-hour skating sessions starting at 12 noon, 2:30 and 7pm. Ice skating is scheduled to be open Christmas Day on a normal schedule, but will be closed the night of Christmas Eve. Located in Blowing Rock NC Appalachian Ski Mountain opened in December of 1968 with 3 slopes and simple rope tows.
