Fall and NC Ski Season is almost here and so is the time for Beech Mountain
Resort's annual Super-Saver season pass sale.
Starting Monday, October 1, 2012, the resort will offer 200 passes for
$375 each. This unlimited pass will allow access to the slopes on any
day, during any session.
In addition to the pass, season lockers are available for $125 dollars.
Located close to the high-speed quad, the season locker room offers
quick access to your equipment. To purchase your pass or locker, call
the ticket office between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM. Passes at this

Cataloochee now Closed for the 2011-12 Season
Cataloochee Ski Area has closed for the 51st season of skiing and riding as of Sunday, March 18 after 110 days of skiing and riding.

On the Slopes at Appalachian Ski Mountain 3-16-12
Today at Appalachian Ski Mountain: All slopes were groomed overnight, with 9 open slopes showing great coverage and soft, spring-like snow. The Appaljack and Appal Jam Terrain Parks are open as well with a variety of jump and rail/box features for all abilities.
Sunny days can be more fun for skiing & snowboarding. Warm days make the snow softer and slower, perfect for learning or improving. Wear sunglasses instead of goggles.
Ice Skating is snow closed for the season.

Cataloochee Closed today re-opens tomorrow
March 15 - Cataloochee Ski Area - Due to severe storms in the area, there will be no night skiing tonight. The Cat will reopen at 1:00 PM on Friday for twilight and night sessions.
