Appalachian Ski Mountain open for final Days of the 2015-6 Ski Season

Slope conditions and updates as of March 28, 2016:

Appalachian Ski Mountain - OPEN  Skiing 8 slopes with 6 lifts on a base of  10 - 25 inches. Ski or ride for the rest of the season free with the purchase of 2016-17 season membership. Late Season Rates are in effect. Projected closing day 4/2

Beech Mountain Ski Resort is CLOSED for the 2015-16 Season

Cataloochee Ski Area is CLOSED for the 2015-16 Season  

Sapphire Valley Ski Area is CLOSED for the 2015-16 Season  
 

Sugar Mountain Ski Resort  is CLOSED for the 2015-16 Season

Last Weekend for Skiing NC Slopes

Appalachian Ski Mountain makes late season snow
Slope conditions and updates as of March 21, 2016:

Appalachian Ski Mountain - OPEN  Skiing 11 slopes with 6 lifts on a base of  19 - 38 inches with 3 inches new snow. Ski or ride for the rest of the season free with the purchase of 2016-17 season membership. Late Season Rates are in effect. 3/26-27:  Meltdown Games; Projected closing day 4/2


Cataloochee Ski Area is OPEN  Skiing 4 slopes with 3 lifts on a base of  16 - 34 inches, day skiing from mid station only.  Season passes are at the lowest price of the season and are available online now. March is Haywood County School System Employees Month.

Sugar Mountain Ski Resort  is OPEN  Skiing 9 slopes with 2 lifts on a base of  8 - 35 inches with 1 inch new snow. March Madness rates in effect.  Spyder 2017 Sampler Sale continues.  The Tubing park and Ice Skating are closed for the season. Sugar will close Wednesday, March 23rd at 4:30pm for the season.

Last Chance to Ski NC for the 2015-16 Season

Slope conditions and updates as of March 15, 2016:

Appalachian Ski Mountain - OPEN  Skiing 12 slopes with 6 lifts on a base of  24 - 46 inches. new snow. Ski or ride for the rest of the season free with the purchase of 2016-17 season membership. 3/19 St. Patrick's Park Jam; 3/26 - Meltdown Games; Projected closing day 4/2

Beech Mountain Ski Resort is OPEN 
Skiing 6 slopes with 3 lifts on a base of  12 - 64 inches.  March 7 - until  March Madness discounts tickets. Live weekend entertainment.

Cataloochee Ski Area is OPEN  
Skiing 13 slopes with 4 lifts on a base of  16 - 44 inches, day skiing only.  March is Haywood County School System Employees Month.


Sugar Mountain Ski Resort  is OPEN  Skiing 14 slopes with 2 lifts on a base of  15 - 65 inches. March Madness rates in effect. 3/13 - Easter Egg Hunt. Spyder 2017 Sampler Sale continues.  The Tubing park is open with sessions at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm. Ice Skating closed for the season.

Appalachian Ski Mountain - OPEN  Skiing 12 slopes with 6 lifts on a base of  38 - 62 inches. new snow. Ski or ride for the rest of the season free with the purchase of 2016-17 season membership. 3/26 - Meltdown Games

Beech Mountain Ski Resort is OPEN  Skiing 14 slopes with 4 lifts on a base of  16 - 76 inches.  March 7 - until  March Madness discounts tickets. Live weekend entertainment.

Cataloochee Ski Area is OPEN  
Skiing 18 slopes with 5 lifts on a base of  50 - 82 inches with snowmaking in the last 24 hours .  3/6 - The BIG one day season pass sale

Sapphire Valley Ski Area is CLOSED for the 2015-16 Season  
 

Sugar Mountain Ski Resort  is OPEN 
Skiing 21 slopes with 7 lifts on a base of  35 - 89 inches. March Madness rates in effect. 3/13 - Easter Egg Hunt. Spyder 2017 Sampler Sale continues. Ice Skating closed for the season.

Wolf Ridge Ski Resort  -  OPEN but closed until the weekend, 3/12-13.
 Day skiing only on the weekend.
