Sugar Mountain Ski Resort offers Best Conditions of the Season

March Madness at Sugar Mountain means 25% off lift tickets, lessons and rental rates EVERYDAY. Another winter storm has blown in and a beautiful winter weekend is ahead on the NC ski slopes. 20 slopes are open with 6 lifts on a base of 41 - 91 inches.

Boss Hawg plays their live bluegrass music this Saturday from 4-6 pm in the base lodge. Ice Skating is open with sessions at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm. The Tubing Park is open with sessions at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm.

The Dick Trundy Memorial Sugar Cup Giant Slalom Competition is Sunday, March 10th. 7:30 am registration, 9 am start on Big Red. $15 entry fee. 100% of all entry fees goes to the American Cancer Society.

Located in Blowing Rock NC Appalachian Ski Mountain opened in December of 1968 with 3 slopes and simple rope tows.
