Lower Membership rates went into effect Monday, January 17th for skiers and riders considering a late purchase of an Appalachian Ski Mtountain Season Membership. Beginning January 16th, individual or family membership prices are 20% off the regular season rate! This late-buy discount also includes our Nights-Only Season Pass, now available for $224. Appalachian’s last scheduled day of skiing is Sunday, March 27. Appalachian has skied through its scheduled closing date for 10 consecutive years. Located in Blowing Rock NC Appalachian Ski Mountain opened in December of 1968 with 3 slopes and simple rope tows.
