Ski Packages are available NOW for Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. Among the amenities offered are: Jacuzzi, sauna, an indoor heated pool, shuffleboard, tennis court, basketball court and laundry room.

Early Season (Opening through Sunday, December 12, 2010):

Stay 3, 4 or 5 nights and ski for 2, 3, or 4 days respectively, or stay Friday, Saturday & Sunday night and ski on Saturday and Sunday. Available on weekdays and weekends.

Mid-Season (Monday, January 3, 2011 through Thursday, March 3, 2011):

Stay 3, 4 or 5 nights and ski for 2, 3 or 4 days respectively. Mid-Season packages are available Sunday through Thursday only.

Late Season (Monday, March 7, 2011 through the end of the season):

Stay 3, 4 or 5 nights and ski for 2, 3, or 4 days respectively, or stay Friday, Saturday & Sunday night and ski on Saturday and Sunday. Available on weekdays and weekend

Located in Blowing Rock NC Appalachian Ski Mountain opened in December of 1968 with 3 slopes and simple rope tows. Today Appalachian has expanded to twelve slopes including two terrain parks serviced by one double chairlift, two quad chairlifts, two conveyor lifts (new in 2010) and one handle-pull lift. The base lodge covers 46,000 square feet, is smoke free, and has complimentary WIFI in the restaurant. The Blue Ridge Ski Mountain welcomes skiers of all skills and styles, including snowboarders! Located in the Village of Sugar Mountain on the outskirts of Banner Elk NC Sugar Mountain is the largest NC ski area with twenty slopes and trails spread over 115 skiable acres for all levels of skiing and snowboarding. Wolf Ridge Ski Resort is just north of Asheville in the outskirts of Mars Hill NC.
