Last Chance for Daily Skiing at Cataloochee
March 21, Cataloochee Ski Resort, Maggie Valley North Carolina. Cataloochee Ski Area will close for daily operations at the end of the skiing session on Sunday, March 21 as originally scheduled. HOWEVER, by popular demand and based on the amount of current snow base Cataloochee slopes will reopen for two additional weekends of skiing and riding on Saturday and Sunday, March 27 and 28 and Saturday and Sunday, April 3 and 4. Skiing on those days will be from 9am until 4:30PM and weekday rates will be in effect. http://cataloochee.com/

Last Night for airboarding at Cataloochee
Cataloochee Ski Resort, Maggie Valley North Carolina. Tuesday evening is the final night of airboarding for the 2009/10 season. Airboarding costs $59 for the 3 hour package and runs from 6:30pm-9:30pm and includes airboard rental, 3 hour lift ticket, boots, helmet and instruction. Spring Fever Blowout at Beech Mountain

Cataloochee Begins Late Season Skiing Hours
March 8, Cataloochee Ski Area, Maggie Valley North Carolina. Beginning March 8, Cataloochee will begin late season skiing hours, open for twilight and night skiing Monday through Fridays from 1pm until 10pm and day skiing only on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am- 4:30pm through the end of the season on Sunday, March 21. Free Lessons at Cataloochee
Cataloochee Ski Area, Maggie Valley North Carolina. Monday through Thursday all persons renting skis or snowboards at Cataloochee receive a FREE Intro to Skiing or Riding lesson! Lesson times are offered at 10, 12, 2, 4, 6, and 7pm and you should plan on being at the area at least 30 minutes prior to your chosen lesson time to sign up. Tuesdays are also Men’s Day here at Cataloochee and all guys purchasing a full price adult day, twilight or night lift ticket will receive a free any level ski or snowboard lesson during that session.
